LAFAYETTE, IN--While acknowledging that The Force Awakens exceeded his expectations and has left him excited about the future of the Star Wars franchise, local nerd Michael Leclere told reporters Monday that he has still not forgiven J.J. Abrams for the TV drama Lost, and is still two Star Wars films from considering the director fully-redeemed.
"I was very impressed with The Force Awakens, very impressed indeed. But if J.J thinks I'm letting him off the hook for Lost, he's sadly mistaken," the 26-year-old told reporters waiting outside the Goodrich Quality Theater on Farabee Drive. "Don't get me wrong, he's definitely put himself on the right track here, but I'm going to need another two Star Wars films of this caliber or better before Mr. Abrams washes himself clean of that six-year, 121-episode cocktease,"
Leclere concluded by adding that he was still waiting to get tickets for The Hateful Eight to see if he could forgive Quentin Tarantino for that CSI episode he directed in 2005.
