Vice president Dick Cheney, on Monday, called on all Americans to grab their guns, and come to Iraq. "If we are going to control their oil, we've all got to come over here, and get it. There are more of us, than there are of them," he added.
The call came, amidst debate on Capitol Hill, about how the US effort at "nation-building" had inadvertently reduced the country of Iraq to big puddle of blood. "Oops...we goofed" Condoleeza Rice said at a press conference on Tuesday. "But at this point, we are open to all possibilities," she said, "as long as whoever is in charge, answers to us, and allows us to keep pumping their oil."
Meanwhile, the Bush administration announced that it would veto any legislation, in the next session of Congress, which promoted new alternative energy technologies, intended to help free the US from dependency on foreign oil.
