Seattle - A Seattle megachurch pastor is in the doghouse for renaming his Mars Hill Church after an iconic 60s fellatio moment involving Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and a former girlfriend.
The Reverend Mark Driscoll's makeover sees a new shrine, the Marianne Faithfull Temple, erected to the former Brit model and sometime cupcake queen.
"The Lord has blessed me with a sweet tooth," Driscoll explained as news of the controversial name change broke, "much like Mick Jagger himself."
And it's not the first time the controversial pastor has hit the headlines with his wacky tastes.
In 2001 he caused outrage among Seattle's conservative churchgoers by claiming women 'were a lovely home for God's penis' in an online rant aimed at Wiccans.
Sister Skyclad, the reverent mother of a local Seattle megacoven, famously responded that the Great Mother in her wisdom clearly made a terrible mistake when Driscoll was first conceived.
"Yeah, his new three inch Mars bar sure takes the biscuit."
Cliff Richards is 69.
