BOSTON, MA - Boston Metropolitan Police have blown up two unattended poodles found near the Boston Marathon's finish line. They say they've taken a little old lady into custody in connection with the two suspicious canines.
Police spokesman, Mike Hunt, says the unattended poodles were discovered Tuesday evening, a year after two bombs in backpacks exploded at the end of the marathon and killed three people.
Police say the bomb squad detonated the two poodles found Tuesday as a precaution.
Police have tweeted and phoned many individuals, asking people to avoid the area. Trains are bypassing the nearby Copley Square station.
