Elmer Godfrey had one of his best/worst dates ever Saturday night according to his friend and fellow worker, Elliot Beasley.
As the early birds gathered around the water cooler fibbing about their great weekends, Elliot told his fellow workers about Elmer.
"Elmer told me he had a great date with a beautiful woman who had a simply radiant smile and that she told him that she was looking for a husband and as far as their sex life went, anything goes."
Everyone wanted more details.
"You know Elmer. He thought he was hearing things, him with the bucked teeth, big freckles and one bad eye. But his luck didn't hold up."
So? Who was she, where she was from, her family, etc?
"Well, when she told Elmer about her background, she told him she had had one of the most brilliant scientists in Chernobyl as a father who died a few years ago, and that she was as brilliant as he was."
"Elmer excused himself and left out the kitchen door in back. He's worried. Found one of his buck teeth in the car seat so he's at the dentist this morning."
