WASHINGTON, D.C. - A White House source has stated that he learned that President Obama recently apologized to Michelle about the rumors regarding Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
The president and Denmark's prime minister were photographed in Johannesburg, South Africa playing footsie during a eulogy for Nelson Mandela back in December of 2013.
President Obama insisted that Thorning-Schmidt initiated the little innocent foot play.
Mrs. Obama was reportedly furious and threatened to move out of the White House Presidential Bedroom and into the bedroom with her mother.
The first lady was also furious at the fact that Helle Thorning-Schmidt was texting her husband up to 40 times a day.
She told the president to do something about it before she unleashed her feminine wrath on him.
The president called up the prime minister and told her to stop with the texting.
He then made reservations for Michelle and him at the exquisite Le Loins of Joan of Arc French Restaurant in D.C.
It was between the main course and desert that he got down on his knee and asked Michelle to forgive him for the way Helle Thorning-Schmidt and he had playfully carried on.
SIDENOTE: An inside source said that Mrs. Obama accepted her husband's apology and she asked him to throw in $2,000 cash which he gladly did.
