Aug 2, 2013, was a historic day in Ashland, WI, when seniors in a breakfast diner learned about the iPhone.
The story of an iPhone in the diner was quite a shock to the local retired residents.
"What's an iPhone?", asked George Bodin. The young waitress tried to explain the variety and options of phones available in 2013.
"I have a phone on the wall. 'Maggie, can you connect me to Joe?'" says Bodin. "It works."
Local residents are now anticipating the arrival of the first iPhone. Ashland town hall is considering a display booth at the annual fishing tournament so all the residents can see one.
