Washington DC - (AssoCIAted Mess): A Congressional reports into corruption activities of jailed Washington DC lobbyist Jack Abramoff has concluded that he acted as a rent boy for the Bush Administration which patently could not distinguish between bona fide political decision making and running a global-scale Mob protection racket.
And while Abramoff's stated defence - that he conspired to bribe public officials in order to earn a living according to the precepts of his Skull 'N' Bones mentors - has been widely criticised by the media as juvenile dissembling, the Congressional inquiry findings have slammed his plea-bargain testimony as a tip-of-the-iceberg whitewash that continues to conceal endemic Republican corruption going back to the November 1963 assassination of President John F Kennedy.
The inquiry's chairman has stated categorically that "Abramoff was selling information and entrée" that would make jailed CIA traitor Aldrich Ames bristle with pride at the depth and breadth of malicious criminal intent.
The extent of his criminal contacts within the Bush Pioneers cabal which first bankrolled Shrub's Texas governorship campaign 'mushroomed like an atomic explosion' once George W became the Mob's Anointed One, propelled into the 2000 White House election campaign after secret negotiations with the IRA's Head of Army Council, Tony Blair, ensured that NATO military intelligence chiefs were taken hostage and all relevant classified criminal records erased.
However, intensive investigations by the United Kingdom's City of London Serious and Organised Crime Unit probing the June 1982 'suicide' of God's Banker Roberto Calvi may have stumbled upon the first conclusive proof that sparked a major trail of deception, fraud, embezzlement, extortion and conspiracy investigations leading to Abramoff being nailed earlier this year.
And while that Calvi probe continues to unravel the Machiavellian machinations of the Bush Family Evil Empire, the tell-tale cracks in the 'special relationship' between UK Prime Monster Tony Blair and US President George Bush Junior become ever more apparent in the depth of their depravity.
Recent reports in the UK media have contributed to this debate by mentioning that Abramoff was on the same first plane out of London to Pyongyang as Bush Junior on the morning of the day when Calvi was found 'suicided' hanging under Blackfriars Bridge on the River Thames.
And although Prime Minister of the day Margaret Thatcher did her very best to systematically destroy all evidence of that journey, City of London cops may have been twice as smart as their de facto boss at No 10 Downing Street in 1982.
That news may be what is bringing an all too elusive smile on the face of fearless anti-corruption lawman Patrick FitzGerald while the squirming in the White House continues to grow following the Congressional report on the Abramoff fiasco published today.
