Former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords shot a gun at a shooting range in Las Vegas for the first time since she was critically wounded by Jared Lee Loughner in 2011 with a 9mm Glock pistol, accidentally winging Wayne LaPierre, who was also at the shooting range practicing with his own 9mm Glock pistol.
Mr. LaPierre, who was shot in the shoulder, is expected to recover.
Mrs. Giffords and her husband Mark Giffords, who helped his wife aim the gun, issued an apology for shooting Mr. LaPierre in the shoulder, saying they meant to shoot him in the head.
The former Congresswoman says she and her husband Mark strongly believe in the Second Amendment right to bear arms, and to take out assholes, when necessary, who have no regard for the value of human life.
