TOPEKA, KANSAS (Acme Quicknews) -- Who can say that the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) can't taste their own dose of picket?
Religious tolerance advocates around America, composing of members of different religions, counter the ways of the WBC by protests. Signs with the words "OH THE IRONY" or "INTERPRET CAREFULLY" are raised by the advocates while asking for the maximum of tolerance towards other faiths. The protest was headed by leaders of various religions, including Christianity.
Demnok Lannik, a Laveyan Satanist who is one of the religious leaders spearheading the protest, stated in an interview that they [WBC] confuse other Christians by committing the fallacy of hasty generalization, or calling non-WBC religions as "Satanists."
An attempt was made to contact WBC pastor Fred Phelps regarding the matter, but the answering message responded, "You're doomed" whenever a call is made.
