Hugh Jackman got the surprise of his life during the weekend.
An ugly looking woman that appeared drunk screamed out "I love you Wolverine" as she chased the handsome actor with a bowl of linguine while he was at a New York City gym, Jackman's publicist says.
"When he saw who it was he was more alarmed than scared," publicist Jennifer O'Neill told the National Inquire Sunday.
Jackman thought it was a homeless woman, but then noticed it was Lady Gaga without make up. "She looked like the typical Italian woman from the streets of Milan with a droopy vampire face and sporting the schnozzle."
The National Inquire interviewed Jackman and a witness at the Gym. They told the Inquire the woman took out a small, linguine bowl inside the gym and followed Jackman "for an extended period of time," while the place smelled like garlic.
Mike Lauper, a trainer at Ceffo Gym, saw Gaga enter the facility. She was crying as she slipped past the check-in desk, he said, and headed straight toward Jackman. "The linguine bowl fell out of her hands when I stepped in between them," Lauper said.
"Desperate people do desperate things," said Jackman.
