Dennis Rodman and Kim Jung Un have decided to offer themselves up to President Barack Obama as the best way to facilitate a detente between the Democrats and Republicans in Congress.
According to a Pyong Penh media report, the basketball near-great and the pudgy North Korean dictator have gotten along so well and have been able to bridge political and social so effortlessly that they believe they can provide a good example of cooperation and friendship to that dysfunctional legislative branch of the US government.
It is said that President Obama welcomes any credible attempt to get Congress back to doing the Nation's business. There is a rumor circulating within the Beltway that the President is trying to make Rodman the official American ambassador to North Korea.
According to Mrs. Obama, the President exclaimed, "If I can't get the Pope anymore, then I'll settle for Denny and Kimmy!"
