Transportation Security Administration airport workers intentionally blew up a passenger today after he began acting suspiciously.
"The male subject was very nervous, and he had no identification and no luggage, and he refused to identify himself," said TSA spokesman Pablo Watanabe.
"We dealt with the situation the same way we handle a suspicious package," he said. "First, we had a dog smell him. Then, we squirted him with a water cannon, but he still was acting suspiciously, so we blew him up."
Officials say no one else was injured and the suspicious person was moved to a remote location on the airport property before he was detonated. Airport officials said no flights were delayed.
