Eva Longoria Says She Has Political Urges

Funny story written by Abel Rodriguez

Friday, 22 February 2013

SAN ANTONIO - The former star of Desperate Housewives recently commented that she is seriously thinking about running for political office.

The attractive, svelte actress, who was once married to San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker, told Political Salad Bar Magazine that ever since she was a little girl growing up in Corpus Christi, Texas, that she wanted to be a movie and television star, a WAG, and a politician.

The 37-year-old celebrity has achieved her first two goals and she is now focusing on her third goal.

Longoria was asked if she wanted to run for a state congressional seat. She smiled, smacked her lips, and replied that she did not.

She was then asked if she wanted to run for one of the two U.S. senate seats from The Lone Star State, and again she answered that she did not.

Eva, who was wearing a St. Mary's University T-shirt and Daisy Duke short shorts, then told PSBM's Sinclair Petaluma that she wants to run against Republican Governor Rick Perry on the Democratic ticket.

She let Petaluma know that she recently hired a political polling agency from Houston and 10,000 citizens throughout Texas were asked if they would vote for her for governor and 7,000 or 70 percent of the poll participants replied that they would vote for her over Governor Rick "The Stick" Perry.

SIDENOTE: When Perry was told of the Eva Longoria For Governor Poll he grinned and replied, "Shucks, as pretty as that seƱorita is, hell I'd probably vote for her myself."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
