LOS ANGELES, California (ABSNN) - Comedian Jamie Foxx joined a long line of African-Americans who have deified leaders of color, like Harriet Tubman and Martin Luther King Jr., when he told the audience at the Soul Train Music Awards "It's almost like church in here. Let us first praise Our Lord and Savior Barack Obama." The remarks, made the day after Obama's election, has old white people really pissed off.
"How dare he compare that picaninny Obama to Jesus Christ," said Jude S. Carryott, 77, a Freewheel Baptist Crutch of Gawd minister from Biloxi, Mississippi.
The staid Catholic Antiquated Conference of America (CACA) also condemned the remarks by Foxx although, said one CACA member, "We really don't know which station the Soul Train runs out of, so we aren't certain which tracks to tear up."
"Obama is our new Moses, our Lincoln, and our Master, and then some," said Foxx adding, "If you white folks don't understand that, well, you are stupider than Karl Rove.
The President made this statement:
"I have every respect for Jesus Christ, although as a Muslim, I certainly do not believe him to be a superior Prophet to Mohammed. Still, I'm better known than Jesus, and certainly he did not have nuclear missiles. Ain't no Eyetalians gonna put my ass on no cross either!"
On a side note, all old, white, Protestant men have seceded from the Union. But they have no place to go.
We will keep you informed.
