Washington DC: The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has charged that President Obama and the Democratic Party are ignoring issues that affect African Americans.
There are many black conservatives and clergymen who will not vote for President Obama in 2012. The Obama administration's failing economic policies have caused high unemployment in the black community and Obama's support of same sex marriage has alienated many voters.
In the waning days of the 2012 presidential campaign the president asked his Democratic surrogates and political advisors to stop taking black people for granted. A large effort was undertaken by various blue state Democratic organizations to recruit additional black voters such as the black Irish, black sheep, coal miners (sometimes black), black widows, black holes, black tops and black cats.
When President Obama returned from campaigning in Las Vegas Nevada he was briefed on the strategy being employed to increase his popularity among black voters. He blamed his political advisors for being politically incorrect and then black balled them to Alaska, a very cold red state!
