Crisis talks resumed last night between the President and Pizza Hut over the delivery of a family sized pizza and a bottle of a cola, talks have now entered their third day and there still seems there is no resolution.
The stumbling block it seems is the Presidents refusal to disclose the promotion code on coupons he claims are valid and in date that offer $5 off his order.
Pizza Hut representatives say they are unable to verify these coupons unless the numbers and codes are passed onto them while the President insists that this is not relevant and once the pizza is delivered he will hand over the vouchers and the residual amount owed to the kid who delivers the pizza.
Sources at Pizza Hut, who do not wish to be identified have alluded that top level Pizza Hut workers (Night Shift Manager Luis) believe the President may have either outdated coupons or no coupons at all and it may just be a trick to get his meal delivered and an invoice issued that cannot be changed by the delivery kid.
Meanwhile White House insiders claim that the President feels that disclosing the coupon details, prior to the delivery of the pizza, is not a requirement and as such is standing his ground.
The crisis has now entered its third day and the President is said to be getting cranky and as a matter of principle declined a egg roll offer from the First Lady stating that it was either pizza or war.
