SAN DIEGO - Mediocre Spoof Magazine 'Spoof Ned' (a play on the phrase 'Spoon Fed') recently published a satirical article entitled 'With US Economy in Turmoil, Astronauts Decide to Stay in Space' by Edward James Henrickson. The article was met with rave reviews by various members of the 'spoofing community', including award-winning spoofer Spoof McSpoofson (formally Walter Gay).

While trying to stay relevant, Edward James Henrickson decided to write another article entitled 'Spoof Writer Becomes Victim of Spoof Writer'. Edward was quoted as saying "This article will be the spoof article to end all spoof articles. It will break the fourth wall and blow your spoofin' minds." Fate, however had written a different conclusion.

The article was published in last month's edition of 'Spoof Ned' and was met by scathing reviews, including an obscenely harsh review by award-winning spoofer Spoof McSpoofson, a former supporter of Mr. Henrickson.

Following the articles' negative reception, Edward James Henrickson decided life was not worth living if he couldn't write positively-received spoofs. As he stood on the ledge of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, a newspaper flew through the air around him, eventually striking his face. As he pulled the newspaper off of his face, he looked down at it. It was famous spoof newspaper 'Chicken Noodle Spoof'.

In the newspaper was an article entitled 'Edward James Henrickson Writes Bad Spoof, Decides to End Life' by Kerry Butters, former editor of 'Spoof Ned'. Mr. Henrickson read the article and was quoted as saying, "I realized that my suicide attempt was so unreasonable that it was almost "spoof-like", so I decided not to take the plunge."

Today, spoofing website 'The Spoof' published a spoof article about Mr. Henrickson entitled 'Spoof Writer Contemplates Suicide, Decides Ice Cream is a Better Option' by Cameron Logan. The article was met with great reception from many, including award-winning spoofer Spoof McSpoofson, who claimed it was the best spoof article ever written.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
