ATLANTA, Ga. - State representative Terry England regaled the state house with stories of the olden days when he worked on a farm delivering dead pig and cow fetuses. Equating these barnyard friends with human females, England argued that what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
"It broke your heart to see those dead animals, but what are you going to do?" England said. "Who are we to say women shouldn't carry these lightweight dead fetuses around until they're due?"
England then brought cock fighting into the discussion by telling the state house the gut-wrenching tale of how a salt-of-the-earth constituent promised solemnly that he'd give up all of his fighting cocks if "they'd just stop killin' them there babies."
