A small town in Texas', whose Little League summer baseball season was about to be closed but was saved a few weeks ago by contributions from near-by strip club, Alice Aglow!, has changed it's mind.

Now the parents have decided to let the season go and have turned down the money that was offered.

"We welcomed the money", stated one mom. "But it was bringing too much attention to the club and connecting it to the kids here in Peabody. Maybe we can have a group trip or something."

"To Alice Aglow?"

"Not funny."

Little League President Harold Boody disagreed with the local Peabody families but said that he would abide with their decision.

"I hate to see the kids lose their summer baseball games. They look forward to it every year. I tried to get the club to give the money to me and then I would donate it to the Little League myself, but they said no to that. I guess it's because they see my truck parked over there most nights. But there's not much to do around here in the winter."

When questioned about this, one of the ladies at Alice Aglow told us that Alice herself, the main attraction, didn't trust Coach Boody. "She calls him 'Slick Boody' and says you could trust him about as far as you can throw him. He must weigh over 300 pounds."

However, all we could get from Alice (real name Hepplewhite) was a shout that she wouldn't trust the kids with him either! But she thought it would be OK as long as the parents were around.

"He ain't called 'Slick' for nothing!"

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
