DESPICABLE, ME (Wiccan Broadcasting Network) -- The indoor full moon celebration of Isis Mighty Mother Coven last March 8 was interrupted by a scheduled rotating brownout.
It was at 7:30 PM when the power shut off after the circle was cast, the guardians of the quarters were called, and the Goddess Isis and God Osiris were invoked. Fortunately the candles were already lit when the power was interrupted.
The power was restored at 9:30 in the evening, and at the same time, cakes and ale were served. "This is so unexpected. But the temple of the Mighty Mother was illuminated by the light of Her [Isis] and His [Osiris] candles," stated High Priestess Agatha Waterlotus in an interview.
Despite the blunder caused by the brownout, the esbat went on and the deities, quarters and circle were dismissed.
