It was confirmed today that Mark Thatcher the only son of Lady Thatcher, the scourge of UK primary industry set off last weekend to Libya.It has been revealed that Sir Mark and his convoy of six 4 x 4s and 2 buses left early Saturday morning heading to the the S. France to catch a ferry for Benghazi.
He issued a statement early this afternoon from Glasgow denying that he was lost but was picking up essential spares for the trip. When pressed that he was going in the wrong direction he said
"You are hounding me and all I am showing is a Dunkirk spirit we will get there and then you will see that I am not totally useless . I am going to give an exclusive interview to a certain newspaper and it certainly will be a coup "
