BIRMINGHAM - Spoofer Inhopeless, who as of 9.27pm GMT Tue/16/11/10 is 8th place and has over 40 posts on popular satire site TheSpoof.com has let the placement on the board go to his head.
"Woo!" he shouted out of his bedroom window in his family's home in Central Birmingham. "I'm FRICKING EIGHTH!"
Inhopeless learnt that he was eighth when he logged onto the site at 7.00pm GMT, and checked his views and rating of his stories.
He them immediatley posted the news on his civillian Facebook status, to which his many (47) friends ignored, and some even posted negative comments on.
He then reposted that he was eighth out of over 150, which garnered even more profantiy-ridden repsonses.
He then told a girl, who appeared to be genuinely interested.
"That's great," she smiled at him in an exclusive one-to-one interview. "Eighth is good. But call me when you're in the top three. No, make that never."
"Oh, and stop narrating your life in a journalistic style."
Inhopeless appeared strangely confused at this female's reaction.
Surely, according to the many hours of research watching the TV, having a placement in rankings is a wooer for women?
As of press time, Inhopeless was wondering how to overcome his social anxiety.
