Those who were excited by the discovery of a "time traveller" talking on a mobile phone in a clip from a 1928 Charlie Chaplin movie will be massively disappointed to hear that a plausible explanation has been put forward to explain the phenomenon.
Professor Fellona Bananaskin, of the Schlappstich museum in Munich has claimed that she can prove beyond doubt that the woman was in fact an actress and she was being whispered to by a brick, which was keeping her informed of Chaplin's movements in order to prevent her getting a kick up the arse.
One incredulous journalist pointed out to professor Bananaskin that bricks cannot talk but was then mocked mercilessly when the sexy prof pointed out that it was a silent movie.
I wouldn't mind bonking that prof's brains out. Phwoarrr. I bet she would be anything but silent!!!
Ahem..
