Is the British Economy Close to Melt Down?

Justice Secretary Ken Clarke let the cat out of the bag when he declared of the UK economy: 'We are not out of the woods yet.' He considered that we were in 'grave danger of financial collapse'.

According to Ken we are in for dramatic events never seen before which will shake up everyone.

The answer is simple. Release all prisoners who have been sentenced for robbery or theft. With little left to steal why spend money on keeping them inside?

Closing prisons is the next money saving idea. But the buildings should be used, doors unlocked, to provide first time buyers with much needed accommodation.

The buy to let brigade would be up the pole, where they belong and people could settle into their new homes.

With everyone's mate Ken Clarke leading a revolt against Ossie and Dave we might even see a worthwhile result from all the dramatic events.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
