The Big Man himself has quit politics all together after being left out of Ed Miliband's Labour party shake up.
The former Deputy PM under Tony Blair appealed to new Labour Leader Eddie for the position of Treasurer of the Exchequer. Unsurprisingly, Prescott was turned down with the old classic "It's not you, it's me" line.
Miliband tweeted on his private Twitter page "Prescott for Mr. T? I think not. He's too big for that kind of job!" Another expected coincidence happened as bored Google browsers nearly sh*t themselves when they heard Prescott was going to be Mr. T, as well as the fact he was "too big for a job".
Prescott did more to hinder the problem when asked what he'd spend the money of the taxpayer on.
"My shopping list for the week is pork pies, sausages, beef steaks and maybe a few hundred chicken legs. Yeah, lovely with gravy they are,"
Slightly worrying, but given Prescott's reputation, he's perfectedly contented sitting in the House of Lords for now.
