Hollywood insiders have today revealed that plans are being drawn up to make a film based on Gordon's first year as Prime Minister. Due to budget restraints the film will be made from recyled clips.
Budd Hoppenbauer, upcoming new director, commented "Well, it's all the rage these days isn't it. Using recyled clips not only saves money but also saves energy which is good for the planet. Although to be fair in this case it's mostly about saving money."
Planned scenes include the terror attack on Glasgow airport that were scuppered by a vigilante passer by. "We've decided to use scenes from Die Hard for this one" comments Budd "The difficult bit will be getting Bruce Willis dubbed with the Glasgow accent obviously. I don't think at any point in the film he headbutts anyone or utters the words 'see you Jimmy' but we're working on it."
Other critical scenes will be Brown's handling of the foot and mouth crisis that followed shortly after.
"We're dubbing this particularly episode using scenes from Outbreak." confirmed Budd "The main scene will be the one where a town gets obliterated by a huge bomb. We're basing that one in Doncaster."
There's currently noone lined up to play the former PM but names on the table include George Clooney and Brad Pitt. "Obviously we need a big name" said Budd "If all else fails though we know that Peter Andre is definitely free."
Shooting starts in the summer and the film entitled "Is This It?" should hit our screens in the Winter.
