British National Party leader, Nick Griffin, has announced that he has awarded himself one of Britain's highest awards. Griffin has given himself the Order of the Bath, a honour usually reserved for individuals held in considerably high esteem by society.
Griffin went on to also announce that he will award himself this honour at a lavish garden party banquet in which only the cream of Britain's filth, sorry, underclasses will be invited. "I've waited twenty years for this moment" said the BNP leader "and I haven't felt this chuffed since I won football tickets on BBC Radio 2 when I was 16."
Griffin appeared uncomfortable and nervous when he was asked if Her Maj was being invited. "Now, look....um....this is not the....um.." he responded. Apparently Griffin wants to keep this occasion for only his criminal mates and other BNP voters.
Other celebrities are outraged by Griffin's behaviour. Rolf Harris and Cilla Black have expressed shock and dismay at his goings on, Harris even threatening to throw his famous wobble board at him.
Whatever the reaction, Griffin will not be swayed from carrying out his selfish ceremony.
