Cabinet Minister Chris Huhne, the Energy Secretary, has proved that he's got energy in abundance, by carrying on an extra-marital sex affair with a former PR worker.
Sources say that Huhne was caught out by alert press hawks as he entertained his mistress at his constituency home in Eastleigh, Hants over the weekend.
Sources report that even following a night of probable rumpy-pumpy with his 44 year old mistress, Carbolic Quimstrimmer, the 55 year old Energy Secretary still had enough lead in his pencil to confuse journos as he boarded a London bound train on platform one, several doors away from his mistress, clearly hoping that nobody would suspect anything.
Then he joined her in First Class and reports suggest they had breakfast together. On the train.
It's said that Mrs Huhne was unaware of her husband's infidelity, even though it has been going on for months. And it's considered that she'll probably be a bit upset.
Sources reassured us that Mrs Huhne doesn't have too much to worry about in the long term, because the Quimstrimmer woman apparently ain't all that.
