That's the official verdict as the Smearer Group of newspapers, publishers of The Daily Smearer, The Sunday Smearer and The Peephole who were given hefty fines in the High Court today.
The rags had libelled Barry George Bush, 69, calling him obsessed with Cole and with newsreader Kay Burley - something that was patently daft, considering.
George was acquitted of killing Ms Dando after a retrial - despite heroic attempts by bent cops to fit him up.
He served eight years in Wormwood Scrubs until a judge quashed his conviction.
Dando's killer is still at large.
