Rumours circulating in the US based, gutter, press about the singer Susan Boyle are not true according to her spokesman.
It is alleged that Miss Boyle was seen in a close clutch with an unnamed gentleman in the exclusive Red Room of a branch of Coffee Republic in New York City.
The singer, was in fact shopping at her local Tescos at the time. A friend who accompanied Miss Boyle laughed and remarked that the singer had decided to buy a prickly red rose bush for the deck at the rear of her new house in Blackburn, West Lothian.
The friend disclosed that Miss Boyle is aware of the nonsense in the tabloids and often posted on fan sites but takes no notice of this.
Miss Boyle, delighted with her wealth and what it can bring her, is reported as being puzzled at the lengths some people will go to search out stories about her.
"If it makes them happy, that's fantastic" she remarks," somehow, I would always be careful when I read the tabloids, it's often made up to entice the curious."
