After 25 long years of marriage for Dawn French and Lenny Henry, it has been reported the reason behind their split. According to sources, chubby-funster Ricky Gervais, 48, sent a picture of his backside to French via mobile phone.

Television personality and legendary funny-man Lenny Henry apparently discovered the picture while French was in the kitchen. This then resulted in a furious argument where French claimed Gervais had a "peachier" backside than Henry. Whether this is a full-fledged love affair is unknown, or whether it is yet another mischievous prank from the tubby comic. Gervais, arguably one of the most liked comedians on the planet, is currently on holiday in Ibiza with friends Steven Merchant and Karl Pilkington.

Gervais has defended the decision to send the picture claiming "the world needed to know". Friends of Gervais, including his wife, were not shocked when the incident were brought to their attention. However, French was said to be confused, stating that she did not even remember giving Gervais her number.

However friends said that French is a huge fan of Gervais' stand up routine and often attended his shows. She was especially fond of the particular joke in which Ricky is standing in front of a sign saying "Ricky" in which he claims had Dawn been standing in front of it, it would read "Roy".

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
