Warrants were issued today by the Dallas Police in response to the publicity stunt by neo soul, whatever that is, artist Erykah Badu.
Ms. Badu staged a music video portraying a strip assassination at the place where John F. Kennedy was killed as a protest her manager, Getta Benjis, claims was against groupthink.
This particular group thinks the action was another in a long line of nonsense desperate borderline artists engage in to keep sagging careers in the public eye (think Janet Jackson's tit).
"I am an artist and spontaneity comes from the neo-soul not from the laws of the land." Yeah, whatever.
When asked how any soul, neo or not, could possibly link a political assassination and the following conspiracy theories to getting naked on a public street in front of kids and tourists then documenting it ala video drive-by.
"You are such a shallow and narrow minded groupthinker Mr. satirist. It is and never was about me but rather dead presidents." Now that made sense.
Police commissioner Flash Gordoni of Dallas/Fort Worth metro was animated at the incident.
"This is disgusting. Not only is she being charged with indecency and public nudity but I have various health department violations as well. Here in Dallas we have two standards and both are held very dear.
"The Dallas Cowboys and their cheerleaders are number one and the second is the quality of our strip clubs. The bitch needs a boob job and to spend some time with a bowflex not to mention meet up with mr gillette.
"I don't know what was worse the brillo or the drip. It'll take months to get rid of the smell."
