Gordon, "The Great Crested Newt", today released a statement from a pond somewhere in Central England stating that he'd like to know exactly who said he was endangered?
Gordon or Mr.Newt to you, is said to be incandescent(especially on his belly) with rage over continued claims by conservationists that he's endangered?

I'd like to drag the bearded Mo@*#r F~*k@r into my pond and tear him a "New Cloaca" hissed the
clearly disturbed amphibian!!
"I'm most perturbed", "yeah, us newts", "we don't get mad, we get perturbed", explained Gordon.
The (by now slightly deranged) rather precious Amphibian added that he was pissed off with naturalists making the mistake of only seeing him and not the millions of Newts swimming around beneath him!
Gordon cut the interview short after getting "The Urge" to deposit a sperm package in his pond which his wife "Glenda" had been expecting for the past week.
