London - (Rotters): The paternity of two year old tots 'Jamie and Robbie Smith' - currently in the care of 'Baby P' social services - was being probed today amid reports they are Jon Venables' kids.
Police officers swooped on Venables in his HMP Belmarsh prison cell this morning following DNA swab analysis results.
Venables has never spoken about having children, possibly because he may not have actually ever realised he'd become a father.
But a statement issued by lawyers on behalf of one 'Ms Pat Smith' claims she's owed thousands of pounds in unpaid child support by the jailed recidivist.
Last year a bloke who once sat next to Robert Thompson in the Rat & Mole pub in Skegness said he'd overheard a conversation claiming Venables 'had had the snip' shortly after his 2001 release from jail.
