It's official - Scotland is really great! The oft ignored outpost to the north of England has finally been universally recognised for its multi-faceted contribution to global culture by none other than the Scottish Tourism Board.
According to the literature, Scotland certainly does have a great deal to be proud of within its rich and many textured culture.
Amongst other things, Scotland brought items such as the carpet sweeper, the apple corer, and the likes of Susan Boyle, Billy Connolly and Mel Gibson to the world. Not forgetting Jacob Zuma, who claims Scottish ancestry, Rod Stewart, who brought us 'D'Ya Think I'm Sexy' and kilts.
Scotland - it's really great!
