Tony Blair has revealed that the invasion of Iraq was really a prank gone wrong. Speaking ahead of his appearance at the inquiry Blair said "Look, I had a few mates round, we had a few drinks and then it got out of hand. But it was all just harmless fun. My American mate, Dubbya, said 'Hey, lets invade somewhere' and we looked at the globe and picked Iraq."
At the party the behaviour drew several complaints from neighbour Gordon Brown. "I was disturbed several times during the night by the comings and goings of a Pizza delivery man. I saw Prescott talking to him several times. Then I heard Mandy singing 'If you hate Gordon clap your hands!'Why they should be singing a song about Gordon Ramsay, I don't know."
Blair hopes that his explanation that it was just a little prank will appease the inquiry. He has agreed to appear before the inquiry provided it does not clash with any speaking engagements.
