Comedian Jimmy Carr has apologised to former Conservative MP for Maidstone and the Weald, the fragrant Ann Widdecombe for lewd, distasteful and downright bloody disgusting comments he made on terrifically jolly TV politics quiz show 'Have I Got News for You'.

Ms Widdecombe, single, childless and a catholic, wrote at the time, "His idea of wit is a barrage of filth and the sort of humour most men grow out of in their teens. The edit got rid of much of it but there's no amount of money for which I would go through those two recording hours again. At one stage I nearly walked out."

Then she did.
What a loss to the nation.

Carr, in a press statement declared. "I apologise, I really do. I apologise for Ann Widdecombe. Let's f*****g face it, some c**t has to. I wouldn't shag her with yours."

Jimmy Carr claims to have 'flirted' outrageously with Widdecombe.

Widdecombe vowed "I will never appear on Have I Got News for You again."

Make of that what you will, viewers.

Ann Widdecombe said last night. "I am too gobsmacked to comment."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
