image for President Not Pleased With New Obama Edition of Mr. Potato Head
It wasn't a red potato that they used, it was a blue one.

New United States President Barack Hussein Obama is not pleased with the New Deluxe Obama edition of the Mr. Potato Head doll. While there have been other toys and candy bars commemmorating famous world leaders, and they have generally been well received, this one is not popular with the man in the White House.

"First off, I don't have a big Afro. I keep my hair short in the proper Moslem style," said the President. "I also don't have those huge, bug, black, giant lips that they give to this toy. I will give them the ears, though, ...they did get that part right."

Obama was also upset that the doll body is wearing a basketball jersey with "The Obamanation" as the name on the back. On the backside of the trousers is a small patch that says "Media Access Here." It also carries a copy of his latest book, How To Buy an Election, in his left hand and a sign in his right that says "Join my Cabinet and you don't pay no taxes never again."

Former President George W. Bush was also upset about the toy, but for different reasons. "They gave him a Mr. Potato Head, but didn't give me one. I'd have had mine at my Cabinet meetings and have him speak for me and dress him up and make sure he got his own plate at State Dinners. I'd make sure I had a little crown for him. Dick Cheney's head looked more like a potato, but I shoulda had my own doll too."

The commemmorative Bill Clinton doll carried a cigar in one hand and a sign that said "I did not inhale." The commemmorative Jimmy Carter doll was actaully known as Mr. Peanut Head. The doll for former Vice President Dan Quayle could not spell "potato."

Oprah Winfrey did not approve this story for publication.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
