Graham Norton's latest prime time Saturday evening show has been axed by the BBC. 'Totally Shit' has failed to pull in the viewers, falling from 4.3 million when launched to just 2 last Saturday.
Norman Gifford and his wife Norma were the last remaining viewers. "I don't actually like the programme myself" said Norman, "but the mrs likes Norton. So we gave it a chance. But, if my back ever gets better I'll be taking up ten-pin bowling on Saturdays instead."
A BBC insider said "Graham's not surprised that the show has been axed. He thinks that 'Totally Shit' is totally shit. At least they will have to find him something else to justify his salary."
'Totally Shit' is just another in a long list of failures from the BBC. It remains to be seen if there will be any improvement.
