London, Neverland - Ex Prime Minister Tony Blair today received an award from the UN Security Council for being not quite as shit at being PM as Margaret Thatcher.
"Blair wasn't great," said Limousin Stretch, of Lululand. "But Thatcher was even worse. When we see how MP's, who are usually snobby bastards, take the piss with expenses, and wouldn't give you a light unless they're looking for votes, then Blair and his ilk had to be a better option."
Thatcher, who single-handedly decimated British industry and turned the nation into a global laughing stock, a nation of shopkeepers and single mothers, yet whose gin sozzled husband attained millionaire status while the unions were also crunched into the ground, retains her status as the PM who took us into a pointless war.
The same could be said for Blair, according to leading political commentators, but even with the Iraq fiasco, and handing the reins of power to Gordon Brown, Blair was deemed to be not quite as shit at being PM as Margaret Thatcher.
