Gordon Brown announced a cabinet reshuffle today, which was being touted as his last chance to address his waning popularity ratings.
Some of the moves had been predicted, however some other announcements which appear to be a desperate attempt to increase Brown's popularity with the nation, were quite a shock.
Unpopular Jacqui Smith is out as Home Secretary, and fictional 70's detective DCI Gene Hunt will now take on the role.
Traitorous Hazel Blears has been axed as Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, and popular TV comedian Harry Hill will be taking over the position.
Further roles were found for Hannah Montana (in what appears to be an attempt to draw the youth vote), musician Gary Barlow, and the lesser known brother of Ed and David, Zeppo Miliband.
Initial signs are that Brown is doomed.
