The heavily criticised smile of Gordon Brown was axed today as the Prime Minister took action to attempt to turn around his ever reducing popularity.
The smile which has made some brief appearances on YouTube recently has become the focus of a number of stinging attacks.
It has led to a questioning of the sanity of the PM as it was widely acknowledged as making him look, at best, strange and awkward.
Even John Prescott, fat, commented on the smile. "I think it is bringing the party down. Gordon needs to take swift action. It is the worst smile on Earth."
In its place Gordon Brown brought his well respected grimace back, which will now be representing his emotions on any future video addresses.
