Prince Harry, third in line to the throne has hit out at the media for circulating a rumour that he has not washed his hair for over two years. The remark was made in a pub in Sleaford near to RAF Barkston Heath, where he has been undergoing elementary flying training before going on to be an Army Air Corps helicopter pilot.
In an exclusive interview, the Prince told In Seine News; "This is of course utter nonsense! People should be well aware that being in the Army, they would not tolerate such behaviour and one would get a jolly good telling off from the Warrant Officer. I happen to be proud of my ginger hair and one's chums (including my little Paki friend!) call me the 'Ginger Ninja'. In fact whenever Chelsey used to ring, I always told her that I was washing my hair - you ask her!"
The Prince added;"it has really been a jolly good wheeze and I have had much fun with this story. Obviously somebody with a tape recorder has picked up the conversation but not knowing the real fact that I have a large rabbit at home that I call Chelsey, after the love of my life. So the next time I talk about not washing my hare, they really need to be sure that they get their facts right. Besides this is the Army Air Corps, not the Barmy Army Hair Corps!"
