Prime minister Gordon Brown was last night bitten by a Gaboon Viper and given a Chinese burn on his wrist by a rare poisonous monkey concealed in an Indian takeaway.
The takeaway had been ordered by The Chancellor but was mistakenly delivered to No10 instead of No11 Downing Street!
The snake died instantly and Mr.Brown said that the Chinese burn was really really painful!
The Chancellor defended his eating habits and his strange taste in exotic pets saying that "Gordon is always looking in my lunch box and is obsessed with my monkey" before departing on foot to the Whitehall branch of McDonald's after Police confiscated his favourite meal.
