We're hearing that British PM Gordon Brown, on being introduced to US First Lady Michelle Obama, seated himself at a Moog synthesizer and burst into song.

"Isn't she lovely," he crooned. "Isn't she wonderful. Isn't she pretty, and less than fifty years old. I can't believe what God has done, giving me access to the one, and isn't she lovely, made from love."

At which point, PM Brown produced a harmonica and started to play the harmonica solo from 'There Must Be An Angel' by the Eurythmics, as played originally by Steveland Judkins, who went on to secure moderate success in the music business under the pseudonym of 'Stevie Wonder'.

President Obama was reportedly 'flattered' by the outburst and launched into an unscripted acapello version of 'My Girl' by the Temptations, which observers reported as being "weak"
