A Cotswold village was cut off from the outside world for over a week because of a stranded lorry. The driver was misdirected through the village of Snide by his vehicles Twat Nav. The system is a cheap navigation device developed in Turkmenistan.
The narrow road was blocked as a result. Being cut off caused mayhem in the village. Looting broke out in the only shop, and general panic gripped the population.
It was feared that the longer the blockade would go on the more likely it would be that possible carnal relationships would occur between the inhabitants. Banjo playing broke out and the local cinema started showing Deliverance. The lorry driver has vanished. The lorry has become a local landmark.
