Bishop Richard Williamson who recently caused widespread controversy with his views on the holocaust found himself embroiled in a new row when he commented that he was not a firm believer in Jesus.
In a conversation overheard in the Dog and Duck in Camden he was heard to say 'look, I know I'm a bishop and all that but a virgin birth? come on.'
'Honestly, if your Joseph and your missus says she's pregnant but hasn't had sex but was visited by an angel you'd have her carted away to the funny farm.'
On lookers were shocked to hear such comments coming from a man of the cloth.
One patron said "He had been downing pints like it was going out of fashion and he just started spouting his views to all and sundry."
In a statement released by the Vatican the Pope said "That's it, I am going to twat that geezer, he is a huge pain in the arse."
