Brian May in a recent portrait....

The tribunal took place yesterday of two ambulance workers accused of gross misconduct after being called to the home of Guitarist Brian May.

The two paramedics - named as Robert Brown and Alan Davies worked for the Greater London Ambulance Service at the time, but deny any wrong doing.

Mr Brown and Mr Davies attended the scene several weeks ago where Mr May had become impaled on a telescope. Mr Davies was said to have attempted to look down the telescope while Mr Brown took several photographs. These photographs later materialised on networking website Facebook, but were taken down three days later. Duplicates and edited versions of these still remain, as Brown and Davies' friends were anxious to get in on the joke.

Both men plead not guilty to the charge of gross misconduct and cite each other to blame, insisting they got caught up in the moment and 'meant nothing by it' Robert Brown, 32, added "it's not every day you get called to the home of Brian May. Cause you see them on the tele, but you don't think they're real" Mr Brown is currently writing a book on his experience.

Mr May's legal representation released a statement "....My client was left in severe pain at the scene of the accident for thirty minutes, while the two defendants, who were in a caring profession abused their duty. My client has not been able to return home since the incident and is considering selling it. He will be seeking damages in a seperate case..."

More details of the case are said to be released shortly as the tribunal continues...

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
