An English stockbroker has survived a 300ft fall from a London Hotel.

The man Mr Sandy Volestrangler fell off a 16th floor balcony at London's swish Dorchester Hotel in Park Lane.

He plunged headfirst into a jam jar that was left on the forecourt of the hotel by a local schoolboy 'Spotty' Jenkins who was about to go tadpoling with his brother Leonard.

"I'd just put my jam jar down for a minute, to tie up my shoelaces when I heard this enormous "Whoosh" and a big "Thud" and the next thing I knew there was this man with his head stuck in my jar", said the flabbergasted schoolboy. "My bruvver Len dialled 999 for an ambulance straightaway."

"I asked for the jar back but the man just kept shouting and moaning," continued the plucky 10 year old. "We couldn't tell what he was saying on account of his voice being muffled by our jam jar".

"Luckily a nice man from the hotel gave us a replacement jar and we were able to go to Hyde Park for our tadpoling trip" said Spotty.

Spotty's brother Leonard (12) added "It was a bit of a laugh really and me and Spotty kept calling him "Jarhead" but he didn't see the funny side"

Doctors at the Hammersmith Hospital said that Mr Volestrangler was 'Lucky to be Alive' and would require a number of operations to return his head to normal.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
